Tony and I started as young officers in the Navy. I always admired him from day one and knew back then he had that 'it' factor and would be great at whatever he aspired to do. We both were from small towns in the south (his much smaller as he would jokingly say he was from LA.....Lower Alabama). He continued his career and performed at the highest level and is now doing the same in civilian life.

That small group of black officers I had the pleasure of knowing during the early 90s was a special group and were very influential in my life! Tony and Angelo D. Burstion were my brothers! All are doing big things in their respective areas of expertise and have certainly excelled against all odds! I thank them all for inspiring  me well beyond what they will ever know!
